The journey to Honey & Myrrh Collective
Tattooing has been a part of my life for over a decade, but its meaning has evolved with me. My journey through motherhood, personal challenges, and growth shifted how I see both art and people. It brought me to a place where I wanted more than just creating tattoos; I wanted to create something that felt intentional, safe, and meaningful.
Opening Honey & Myrrh Collective was a step into doing things differently. I wanted to move away from rushed, impersonal environments and create a private space where people can feel calm, understood, and fully present in the experience. My background in counseling, and my path toward becoming an LPC, deeply influence how I approach my work. I take time to listen, connect, and create pieces that reflect something real.
My philosophy is simple: tattoos should carry intention. They can represent healing, growth, faith, or a moment in someone’s life. I don’t see them as just designs, but as something personal that stays with you.

Beyond the needle: who we are
Beyond tattooing, a big part of who I am is shaped by my life outside of the studio. I’m a mother and a wife, and those roles have grounded me in patience, care, and intention. My faith is also central to my life and influences the way I approach both my work and the environment I create in El Paso, Texas.
I come from a background in education and am currently pursuing my master’s in counseling as I work toward becoming an LPC. That journey has strengthened my ability to truly listen and connect with people on a deeper level.
I’ve also always had a strong connection to art through painting, which continues to influence my style—especially in composition, flow, and detail. All of these parts of my life come together in my work, shaping not just the tattoos I create, but the experience I provide—one that feels grounded, personal, and meaningful.

Leaving with more than just a tattoo
When clients leave my studio, I want them to feel calm, confident, and truly connected to their tattoo. I want them to feel like they were seen, heard, and cared for throughout the entire experience—not rushed or overlooked.
I hope their tattoo feels meaningful, something that reflects who they are or what they’ve been through, not just something that looks good. More than anything, I want them to carry a sense of peace and confidence with them, knowing they chose something intentional.
The lasting impression I hope to make is that this was more than just getting a tattoo—it was a thoughtful, personal experience in a space where they felt comfortable, respected, and understood at Honey & Myrrh Collective.
"Honey & Myrrh Collective offers an experience that goes beyond skin deep. The intention and care put into each session create not just beautiful art, but a sense of peace and connection."
